What is the Transition to Tourism Entrepreneurship (TTE) Program?
The TTE Program is founded on the Firecircle 5x5 Method™ Entrepreneur Accelerator - the only comprehensive tourism business development program in Canada created to empower Canadian tourism and hospitality entrepreneurs living in communities of less than 250,000 to plan, launch and grow their tourism and hospitality businesses.
The TTE Program:
- Is self-paced and part-time
- Requires approximately 100 hours over 3 to 6 months
- Offers a step-by-step series of animated online video workshops, live group webinars, templates, resources
- Offers expert guidance delivered by our Ignite team of professional coaches and mentors to bring your tourism business vision to life.
We’re looking for serious applicants! This program is going to make a difference in your entrepreneurial journey and move you to the successful completion of a viable business plan. The TTE program is valued at over $5,000.00 and is funded in part by the Government of Canada and in partnership with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada.
*The fully funded TTE Program is accessed via a monthly $19.99CDN technology platform subscription for the duration of the program - usually 3-9 months, depending on participant’s self-paced learning.

The Transition to Tourism Entrepreneurship Program offers animated online programming, live video workshops and step-by-step guidance with expert, personalized coaching and mentorship to help you develop your tourism vision and create a custom-made business plan that reflects your ideas and the reality of doing business wherever you are in Canada. - Firecircle’s 5x5 Method™ - Our easy to follow, 5-step, 25 workshop foundational planning and implementation program to coach you through envisioning your opportunity, building your brand story, building your operations, designing your product and managing your money
- Personalized online vision session with an expert Mentor
- 1-on-1 coaching and mentorship with up to 15 hours of 1-on-1 mentorship and coaching to help you develop your business and create a custom-made business plan
- Live weekly group sessions on the Firecircle 5x5 business-development concepts to support your learning journey, connect with other entrepreneurs and ensure you have full comprehension of the learning materials
- Business plan mapping with an easy-to-follow template to incorporate all of the Workshop information you are developing in the program as you plan, analyze and determine the feasibility of your business and create your own personalized business plan
